Good news. Got an update this morning and without changing anything my T936 has been updated, line 68140 has a value. Haven’t netfiled yet, but will try shortly. Going to check their calculations first.
Instead of waiting for TT to fix the bug, I simply entered the T3 as 100% ownership under my husband’s return (doing a joint filing) , since he has a net capital gain on line 19900. I then used T1032 to adjust the income split to achieve more or less the same approximate amount of taxes payable. Obviously this would also increase my Loss Carry Back which is ok to me.
Latest Turbotax update today corrected the problem with the T936 box 68140 not populating correctly when you have a capital loss on T5008. l was able to successfully Netfile my return. I wish you all success!
They did fix that error! However, CRA pointed out that there is another mistake when I worked with them to sort this out. Any capital loss is not being reported on line 12700 of the T1 General form. Thoughts?

@Winnipeger204 Line 12700 is only populated If you have a net capital gain. If you have a net capital loss line 12700 will be zero (This is from the TurboTax help on this field)
I was able to Netfile this morning as well. Thank you Anne04 for all your detailed information about the issue and all the follow-up with Turbo Tax. I wish Turbo Tax support had provided information about these errors and their status on fixes.
