    TurboTax Premier 2025 returns error code 606 and can't be activated. I've used it successfully with previous versions.

    This is the second package purchased from Best Buy.

    TurboTax Premier 2025 returns error code 606 and can't be activated. I've used it successfully with previous versions.

    This error means you are trying to enter a Code for TurboTax Online in a Desktop software (or vice-versa).  Double check that you bought the right software.  If you bought the wrong one, you can request a refund by using the form on this TurboTax Canada FAQ: How do I get a refund for a TurboTax product?
