When will T1198 be available for 2024 tax submissions?

@willow68 We are working on resolving this for now. This issue is known and will be resolved as soon as possible. The Tax Year field is for reference only and will not be transmitted to CRA via NetFile. Users can leave this field blank until the issue is fixed.

Feels like we are just getting the run around at this point.

TurboTax staff tell us the form is not ready from CRA. I go to the CRA site, T1198 is available with last update of 2025-02-19. Form looks ready to be filled out with updated note for 2025.

They then proceed to tell us to leave the field blank in the TurboTax software. A simple test would show that is not possible, field requires a value.

I am losing trust in Intuit.

This is exactly how I feel!

I upgraded, paid to "ask an expert" to help me. Same answer. She was helpful, and tried her best...but told that I have to print and send in a paper version of taxes. WHAT?! I wouldn't have paid for turbotax had I known. Desktop version, I can input T1198 but won't let me NETFILE?? 

Ridiculous.

I netfiled a return with a T1198 and it appeared to go thru to CRA successfully BUT when I look at the pdf I do not see the T1198 despite doing searches as well

I just NetFiled with a T1198 completed in TurboTax but the T1198 is not included in what was sent to the CRA or in the PDF package.

I will submit the T1198 to CRA directly, but TurboTax needs to get it together on this and stop bull**bleep**ting everyone.

That is exactly what happened to me and it is atrocious that TurboTax is not letting their customers know.

9.out.of 10 people do not.sift thru.the 29 or more pages to see that it uploaded!
