ReFile Error

I'm trying to ReFile my 2022 return because I forgot to add my second t4 the first time.. when I try to refile it gives me the error message: "You cannot make an initial application for the disability tax credit amount using the ReFILE service."

but I am NOT trying to claim the disability credit. all I did was simply add a second t4. any ideas? tia

Do you have the REFILE button? If you just NetFiled your return you need to wait unto you receive your Notice of Assessment - to make sure that the CRA hasn't added it already for you. 

If not, then you can REFILE.

this is not the solution. I was indeed using the refile button

Are you using TurboTax CD/download? If yes, and you were able to add your other T4 - Please click on EasySteps = Then go to the top right and click on "FIND" type in Disability tax credit- go - It will bring you to the page and please be sure nothing was entered. If there was remove it or click on "NO" I am not applying for DTC. Then go back to FORMS mode and try to file once again.

If this doesn't work please contact our phone support team at 1-888-829-8608 so that they can view your screen to see the error.
