Turbo Tax enters an RRSP deduction for me but it shouldn’t be there as I didn’t make any RRSP contributions for 2022. It then tells me it is not beneficial to do pension income splitting. Frustrated!
Did you have unused RRSP contributions from previous years? If so that's what might be showing up now.
If this is the case, you can to the RRSP section and remove them. Use the “Find” tool 🔍 to search for “rrsp”. Select “RRSP Profile” and then click the “Go” button.
