I've been using Turbotax for years and this year I have now completed 2 returns. Both times at the profile piece, the "sale of primary residence" page comes up and I have not checked anywhere that would generate that page. I leave it blank and then at the end I get a warning indicating I have said I've sold a non-primary residence which I have not. Why is this coming up and how do I prevent it from populating and bringing up those forms?
As long as the form is empty or has been cleared (Select PRWS > Edit > Forms > Clear Current Form) you should not have issues with NETFILE. If you are mailing in your return the CRA will disregard the form if it’s not required.
I am having the same issue - using Turbo Tax Premier. I cannot see where I can select edit to clear the worksheet.
@DLTaylor11 Select the PRWS form. Click Edit from the top grey menu, then Forms > Clear Current Form.
