Searching in turbotax community and found the topic I am interested in, but I receive the following message instead of showing me the answer.
"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."
What privileges do I need to pull answers out of the community. I have been a member for five years.
You are getting that message because the community search is showing deleted posts in the public search results when it should not be. We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it ASAP.
Susan, I am having this same problem. After finding no info in the product help in TurboTax (Canada, Standard, desktop), I searched for "RLIF transfer to RRSP" to find out how to enter the T4RIF and RRSP contribution forms .
.The returned list of answers had two promising entries but when I tried to link to those I got the same error. Answers were older (4 years IIRC) but still relevant to me as a user. Why would TT delete / hide relevant answers that people need? Do I need to re-post this as a new question? Seems a bit counter to the philosophy of a knowledge base...
This is a live community, and as such, posts get deleted for a number of reasons, often because something is incorrect, outdated or a duplicate. These deleted posts shouldn't be showing in our search results and we are looking into resolving the issue ASAP.
As for the "RLIF transfer to RRSP" - enter the T4RIF. Then enter the RRSP contribution, making sure to enter the transferred amount in the box "Is this RRSP contribution a designated transfer of eligible income amount? If so, enter the amount that is a designated transfer". And that should do the transfer.
