spouse income tax deducted reallocation

When calculating my spouse's and my individual income tax payment/refund, Turbo Tax is reallocating a portion of income tax deducted from my T4 and T4A slips to my spouse. I've confirmed that income tax deducted has been input correctly on our individual T4s and T4As. The aggregate income tax deducted is correct, but it's not being allocated as input. anyone know why?

Have you mistakenly answered that you wish to split income at the beginning of the return? You can verify your return for pension splitting by using the Find icon at the top right and writing pension splitting then highlighting it and click GO.

Thank you Ginette, this looks like it has to do with how Turbo Tax is allocating tax withheld on T4 and T4A slips. The tax withheld on my slips (and input accurately into Turbo Tax) does not equal the tax withheld when calculating my net tax refund or payment; it is allocating some of my tax withheld to my spouse.
