T3 Capital Gain errors fixed by rounding decimals?

I am tried of reading Intuits canned response.
I have been using this software since it's inception and until now I have never given another thought of using another product.
This issue is costing me money, between my wife and my return, we are expecting a refund close to $10,000.  My return has been waiting since mid March and I would have my money by now if I had used a competitors product.

In my opinion, Intuit should provide a firm date of when this issue will be resolved and in addition provide the users who are affected with some form of compensation i.e a refund or reduction of our purchase of a defective product.

I know how to make the corrections manually, but that will cause me to submit my return via paper which is a slow process in receiving the return.  As a quick fix, why not allow us to make the necessary changes manually and lift the block that will not allow us to submit the return via. Netfile?

I also have used Intuit tax software for ages.

Kept on coming back to them each year because it was familiar and would import my info from the previous year.

It won't be importing my info next year because I gave up on them filed with another online service.

It reported our refunds as being very close to Turbotax's results.

The difference might be due to Turbotax's inability to handle simple addition.

Whole thing took less than an hour and done.

Now I can autofill using them next year, and the year after and so on.

The government announce awhile back that there was an April 1st filing date if people wanted their final carbon tax rebate on schedule.   At minimum this Turbotax issue has missed that date.

First - because I stupidly submitted my tax return once the error message disappeared my Assessment is STILL being processed. I called CRA yesterday and found out that a corrected or amended return cannot be submitted until the Assessment has been done - so it is now a waiting game.

I also questioned the carbon tax rebate and was transferred to a 'rebate specialist' who assured me that I will receive the rebate once the Assessment has been issued.  It will be after April 15, but I won't miss out.

Second - I have a connection to a VP in one of the big banks and they said the industry is aware of this issue!  They heard (but haven't personally confirmed) that the problem only occurs on desktop computers, not on tablets. Maybe anyone with a tablet of some kind could try that?

Good news further to my post of this morning - I have just received my Notice of Assessment and apparently CRA agrees with my figures so they must have figured out why my figures were slightly different than on the T3. Not sure this is in time for the April 15 carbon tax rebate, hopefully it will be distributed in the near future.  This has not been a great experience and does nothing to install confidence in TT going forward.
