We recently got a call from CRA that we claimed more under "taxes paid" than we were supposed by by over $3k. This was a surprise to us as we went over the fields in the return multiple times and it's extremely unlikely that we missed something like this. When we explained this to CRA, they said that this was a common complaint - specifically in that area (TurboTax T4 data entry) for that tax year. We were on the hook for the repayment of the money plus interest. Who can I talk to about this? I tried to find a dedicated technical support avenue, but the only thing I found is this forum.
