spent over 70 minutes on phone with help desk concerning form TP-1079.8.be. Information should carryforward from T1135 but it does not.  I use forms not easy step. Help desk still made me go through easystep which did not help.

There is obviously a problem with this new form. I do not want to use overide function in order to be able to use direct transmission. I have seen other people had issues with this topic but answers did not help.

Two checkboxes on form T1135 indicate whether foreign property is being reported for more than $250K or between $100K and $250K. For Form T1135, simply selecting the latter and completing Part A is sufficient.  Nevertheless, results from TP-1079.8.BE-V will not be copied to Quebec.  To "tick the appropriate box for the method of filing" option, which is displayed in a small font just above the beginning of the Part A section of the T1135, must also be selected to guarantee copying.  Data is transferred to the Quebec form when this is done (i.e., by checking "Part A—simplified reporting method").
