TurboTax 2021 has been loaded on my ThinkPad T430s running Windows 10 for a year, and ran trouble free for the 2021 tax season. Today, February 19, 2023 it will not launch. It opens the "checking for updates" dialogue box, closes it, then nothing else. I just purchased and downloaded TurboTax 2022 and when I try to launch it the same thing happens. I've re-booted the computer twice and checked to see if it has the latest Windows 10 update. I've updated Java to the latest version. I run Trend Micro Security software and I wonder if there is a setting there or in some Windows security app that prevents TurboTax from launching. Thanks for any ideas or help.
