My Turbo Tax 2024 seems to start (it asks to update, goes thru update) then nothing?? I have already filed two tax returns but need some info. Will not startup. Any suggestions?
@Karbonk The kludgy procedure of uninstalling and then reinstalling from https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download worked for me. If you are worried that uninstalling might delete your tt24 files (it didn't delete mine), then a prudent extra step would be to make a backup of those tt24 files before doing the uninstall. After the update, make sure the About Box shows this version (or later): Version 00.01.62 Build 6007 068G25

i had that issue this morning when an update arrived , kept dying during update . I tried many times .
finally i rebooted my PC and then it was ok . I wrote this in another post re line 68140 no getting populated for T3 info( error code #95365 )
@pliverock It should be fixed now. You should be able to run the updates. If not, please uninstall the software and reinstall it by using this link to have a current/updated version: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/desktop
Well I started my tax returns last week after encountering the reported issue. Today I returned to complete the returns and had the same issue. I have reinstalled twice. I was encountering this same issue even after the reinstallation so decided to report to this forum. BUT, while writing this post after TurboTax did nothing for 10 minutes it suddenly pops up as started. Hardly inspiring confidence.....
