Turbotax Canada Standard 2023 Desktop problem with treatment of net capital losses?

CRA Tax guide states: "In order to use some or all [capital] losses on the current year tax return, you would claim the amount of the net capital loss on line 25300 of your tax return. This amount claimed cannot exceed the amount of taxable capital gains that you are showing on line 12700 of your return."

Why does Turbotax allow me to enter an amount for T1 line 25300 (non-capital losses of other years) that exceeds line 12700 (taxable capital gains in current year from Schedule 3) ???

Shouldn't this be an error that is flagged and not allowed?

@hodini Have you run the Review yet? You should get an error message about it in the review.
