Long time TurboTax customer, and have never had a discrepancy between my TurboTax refund and my NOA.
For my 2022, I received back $1200 less than anticipated.
From what I can see, the issue is line 44800 (this is a calculated line, not one I input) CPP overpayment. TurboTax calculated this as $1785 (which is all of the CPP I payed and makes no sense), the CRA calculated this as $133.05 (which is much more realistic).
I have tried contacting customer service for clarification, but they were tremendously unhelpful. At this point, I do not think I will be using TurboTax again.
Anyone run into this before? Any insight?
Thank you for choosing TurboTax
