Receiving error code #95365, Line 68140 in Form T936, Chart A should automatically include the sum of all lines 21 in T3 slips. Same for line 17600 of Schedule 3. They are not working in Turbotax. The following was the report was generated from Turbotax when trying to Netfile to CRA
There is an entry on the Form T936 and/or on the Schedule 3 and one of the following situations applies to your return.
1. You reported a capital gain from a T3 slip on line 17600 of schedule 3. An entry is also required on line 68140 in Chart A of Form 936. Line 68140 cannot be less than 17600
2. There is an entry on line 68140. You also have to report a capital gain (lor loss) on line 17600. If the total of your capital gain (or losses) from all your T3 slips is zero, your software should generate an entry of "1" on line 17600
3. THERE IS AN ENTRY ON LINE 68140. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE AN ENTRY ON LINE 68150. IF LINE 68140 MINUS LINE 12 IN CHART A IS ZERO, YOUR SOFTWARE SHOULD GENERATE AN ENTRY OF 1 ON LINE 68150
4. There is an entry on line 68150. An entry is also required on line 68140. Line 68140 cannot be less than line 68150

I'm not sure why we are being told this is a CRA error. Its very clearly an error in the TT software. There is a bug that when the capital gains is less than $300, it is not entering it on form T936 in box 68140. If you create a fake T3 and enter in capital gains you will see the T936 fill when the amount is greater than $300. Rounding of $300 is a pretty large number.
You can override it, but then you can't NETFILE.
As of April 13, this bug is still not resolved. Not sure what the April 7 fix didn, but it didn't fix this issue.
I agree it is a TT software issue. T936 is not populating correctly for 2024. If you review the prior years of TT T936 is correctly populated with the data from the T3 Box 21. I'm not sure why this is so tough to review prior years to see how this is calculated and compare the results.
Losing faith in TT to get things done...
@JRevaa This is not a TurboTax issue.
The CRA has confirmed that this issue is affecting all CRA-certified tax software. TurboTax is in direct contact with senior Government of Canada officials at CRA, underscoring the urgent need for accountability and decisive action to resolve these issues for our customers and all Canadians.
To support taxpayers in navigating these CRA errors, the TurboTax Canada blog is being regularly updated with the latest information on NETFILE error codes, CRA-approved workarounds, and expected resolution dates.
As stated above, this is NOT a CRA issue. Form T946 is not populating certain calculated fields correctly. The form is incorrect whether you Netfile or not. This means it is a Turbotax code issue.
Stop deflecting and fix the code issue.
I've reviewed all my Tax Forms and found that the Turbo Tax Software has a glitch. Amounts entered from T3 Statements Box 21 and which are being shown on line 17600 of Schedule 3 is not showing up on line 68150 Form T936 Chart A. This is not a CRA problem but specifically a Turbo Tax Software glitch.
Turbo Tax Customer Support claims I should be able to Net File my Tax Return after April 14th, however, that is very unlikely unless that provide a software update that will correct their software's glitch.

Today's update (April 14) has unsurprisingly failed to correct the error where box 68140 fails to populate with the total of box 21 from the T3's when there is a capital loss on Schedule 3. We have been hearing for 2 weeks now that this would be corrected by April 14. What now?
