what is a social benefit repayment

If you received employment insurance (EI) benefits, old age security (OAS) pension, net federal supplements, and/or the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) during the year, and had to repay all or part of the amount you got, that is a social benefit repayment.

Net Income Before Adjustments is used to calculate various credits & benefits, as well as clawbacks of OAS and employment insurance. Net Income Before Adjustments calculated by subtracting a list of expenses and deductions from Total Income for Tax Purposes.
