If you login to https://accounts.intuit.com/ using your TurboTax account credentials, you can select “Preferences” and choose to sign up for Product Information emails or text messages. That way you’ll get notified as soon as the 2024 version is released. You can also choose to get messages about Offers & Promotions to get info about discounts.
Yes, I was already signed up for Product Information notifications. But I hadn't received any email notifications of when TurboTax Online is expected to become available this year. Hence my post here.
That would be a useful annual email notification to configure. ie. not just on the day it becomes available.
It allows early preparation for that approximate date.
The emails are sent from the marketing team, so I don't know when they get the okay to announce new releases. I think they wait until the actual release date just in case the date ends up being changed for some reason.
The following week, starting tomorrow December 16th 2024, is our launch week. You should be able to purchase the TurboTax software for taxes year 2024 directly on our website or in stores.
