Why does the estimated Canada Child Benefit only show the amount for 1 child when I am filing with 2 minor children?

I filed with 2 minor dependant children but Turbotax only calculates the benefit for 1 child. What is the problem?

Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?

We are aware of the issue, and our development team is working to resolve it ASAP.

What is normally shown in TurboTax Online is just an estimate. The CRA will determine how much CCB you will get and notify you after you have filed your return.

In the meantime you can use this calculator on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) website to see an estimate of your Canada child benefit (CCB): Child and family benefits calculator
