With the government announcing on January 31, 2025 that they were deferring the capital gains rate increase to January 1, 2026; that should not affect/delay 2024 filing.

I should be able to file 2024 tax return and not have to wait until late March for TurboTax accept my return based on the Federal government deferring capital gains rates to Jan 2026

Same here, quick google search shows it. Never had an issue before.

Schedule 3 is still locked by CRA and not finalized by yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized? 

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax for an accurate calculations.
