I have direct deposit set up with CRA, but my wife hasn't. So, since we are filing tax return together, will CRA deposit all refund money to my bank account?

I filed the tax return for my wife and I. We are getting a refund. However, Turbotax separate our tax refund, so each of us will get a different amount. My direct deposit information has already been registered with CRA, but my wife hasn't. So, since we are filing tax return together, will CRA deposit all refund money to my bank account?

TurboTax files each and every return separately, because that is what the CRA requires. There is no “Jointly-Filed” return in Canada, like there is in some other countries. So if your wife hasn’t set up direct deposit, she will get her refund via a cheque in the mail.
