Why can I not save return after getting updates

No matter what I do, I cannot save a copy of my tax return to PDF because I get told I need final versions of forms.  I have run the check for updates and it says there are none to get.  This is preventing me from submitting my return.  I have followed the steps that say after applying the updates to return to the beginning of the review section and go through those steps to resolve.  Still says I cannot save because of a locked form.

please help

Why can I not save return after getting updates

Please make sure that you copy of TurboTax CD/Download is updated: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3262510

There are also a few forms that have still not been finalized yet, which should be ready on the 15th. Here is the list: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3769141

If you have these forms open and don’t need them, make sure to close them before filing (Edit>Forms>Close Unused Forms).

If you don’t have any of these forms on your return, double check that you (and your spouse, if you have one) have not accidentally said “YES” to the Tax on Split Income (TOSI) question. Us the Find tool (or the Forms lookup) to search for Tax on Split Income, answer the question “NO” and click “Continue” to save. Then try to file again, starting from the beginning of the Review section.

- From the left side menu, select Review.

- From the options that appear, select “[Name] – Tips, Warnings and Errors”.

- Continue through your return and file.

In Forms mode you can get to the Review with CTR+D.
