• The information you provide is used only to verify your identity.
• TurboTax doesn't share, sell, or use personal info for any other purpose without your consent.

When you sign in to your TurboTax account, a number of security measures are activated to safeguard your information:

• You may be asked to verify your account if you’re using a new computer or device.
• You may be asked to verify your account if you haven’t signed in for several weeks.
• You may be asked questions that only you should have the answers to.
• You may also validate your identity by requesting a confirmation code.
