My daughter and her husband are preparing a separated tax returns in 2017. How can I link two returns together so as to maximize the tax benefits in 2018 tax year?

Turbo tax has an option to prepare spousal tax returns together.  please advise how can I set this up through the Turbo Tax software?

When using TurboTax Standard, you must answer Yes to the question in the interview section, "Do you want to prepare your returns together?"
