    In past years I could claim a total amount for medical expenses for my spouse and I. Not individual expenses. Can I still do that for 2022 taxes

    Claiming medical expenses for 2022, can I just put total amount

    Yes. If you select that you only have medical expenses for 2022, then it will give you the option to just put in the total.
