Hello, I have not filed a 2024 return I was working on, can I go back and finish the 2024 return using my 2025 Turbotax account?

You cannot use your 2025 TurboTax software to complete your 2024 tax return. To file your 2024 return, you must use the 2024 TurboTax software. Once your 2024 return is filed, you can use the 2025 TurboTax software to file your 2025 return.

You can still file your 2024 return late, as the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) allows late submissions. If you are expecting a refund, there are no penalties or interest charges for filing late. However, if you owe taxes, you may incur a late-filing penalty and interest until the balance is paid.
