I'm self-employed, my spouse is not. I want to pay for the standard version for my spouse, but it's charging us both as self-employed

I have used Turbotax for the last five years, and I always file my return as self-employed and my spouse as standard. I carry forward information from year to year.

The problem is that I am all ready to file 2019, and Turbotax says it is charging my spouse the self-employed turbotax version-- but this should be the standard version! What is the quickest way to correct this error?

The self-employed version this year is a cheaper offer than last year, this is why it is applied on both returns if you file together.

If you don't wish to pay this amount for your spouse > you can start a new standard return for your spouse and file separately.

I hope this was helpful
