Deleted a form that is not required?

I have a T657 form (which is locked) in my return.  It is for capital gains.  I'm not claiming any capital gains.  It appears to be open as it has a record of old capital gains.

Is there any way to remove it from the return, so that I can file?

Please try clearing the unneeded form and then closing unused forms. You can find those options under Edit>Forms in the top menu.
