I’m filling out my T691 and turbotax is autofilling line1 with the amount from line 26000. Should it not be from line 23600?

The amount on line 1 of the T691 is "Taxable income from line 26000 of your return (or the amount you would have entered on line 26000 if the instructions for lines 23600 and 26000 said "if negative, show in brackets")"
