Upgrade to Premier

Purchased the Deluxe edition at Costco for the whole family as I do every year.  When entering my information got a message that I needed to upgrade to Premier due to investment income (Turbo Tax change for this year). I called customer service and was advised that it was fine to continue with Deluxe and just pay the difference when filing.  So now when I file I am asked to pay $70 plus tax for the Premier ($34.99 each for spousal return) after already paying $35 for the Deluxe version. The Deluxe version is now basically null and void. My case has been escalated but it is wrong to pay an additional $70 on top of what has already been paid.

@tongko1345 You need to enter your activation code before you start your returns. Any returns that you complete before entering your code will be billed at the regular per return rate.
