We have a process to follow here at TurboTax- Therefore our TurboTax FAQ shows what to do in order to contact our phone support team who will assist you with deactivating your TurboTax account.  

 

These instructions apply to all free and paid users of TurboTax Online and CD/Download products:

 

To talk to a TurboTax specialist, begin by filling out the TurboTax Contact Us page form and telling us which platform and version of TurboTax you’re using.

Once you complete the form, the phone number to speak to a TurboTax agent will appear. 

 

 You will let them know you want to deactivate your online account. Our team will email you a form to help confirm your identity

 Fill out the form. Our security team will then be able to deactivate your account.
