When you purchase TurboTax Online, all you need to do is sign in to your account (or create a new one) to activate your prepayment code. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to turbotax.ca/activate and you'll see the Welcome to TurboTax screen
- Select I have an account to sign in to your Intuit account (this is the same account you’d use for TurboTax Online, Mint, and QuickBooks) or Create an account to create a new account
- Sign in to your account with your user ID and password
- Once you've signed in to your account, review and activate your purchase by entering your 16-digit activation code and selecting Continue
- Selecting Start my taxes will take you to the TurboTax Introduction screen. You're now ready to start your tax return
