Credit card apyment problems

 

Trying to file my daughter’s taxes with Turbo Tax Premier.  All goes well until I reach the payment screen.  In order to file I must log in to the intuit account to be able to use my credit card to pay for the filing.  This is where the problems start, the next screen goes to:  

Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag

And after that we go into an endless loop where I log out, try again etc.

I did call customer support, they listened had me try a few things that did not work and checked with other support and discovered that there is a known problem with this.  I got a case number and was promised to be on an email chain that would provide updates on when the issue was fixed.  Days pass, no email, I install a couple of updates that do not fix the problem.  Called back this morning and gave my case number, I am told it has been closed and shows that I was able to pay successfully.  As you can imagine, this was news to me, so the case has been reopened but still no email with updates.     Grrrrr.

Thank you for replying I will give you an update on how it went.

 

First a person did call me and suggest that I try a different browser to log in.  I did this with exactly the same result.

 

Next I got the following email:

 

"Thank you for contacting turbo tax Support.

 

Here is the information we discussed during our call:


We are trying to reach you for the issue in payment TTO. Please call us back we will be happy to assist you. Unable to reach as phone number doesnt exist in the system.
 

I would like to make sure this has been completely resolved for you. Should you need to contact us again about this situation, you may use case number [phone number removed] as the Support ID.  

Thank you,"

 

(I left out the persons name that was at the bottom)

 

After this I have heard nothing. My issue is not resolved.  Obviously my phone number does exist in the system since somebody called me.

There is no way to reply to the email.

 

SO in summary case number [phone number removed] has not been resolved. Does anyone else have this issue?

 

At this point my best option may be to use another vendor's software for my 2023 returns.
