I have the same issue.
I entered my date of entry, and answered the question of: are you a Canadian citizen as no, and I answered the question of are you a permanent resident as yes. Not sure what else to do to indicate that I am an immigrant!!
Need a refund or resolve this issue. Such a waste of time. Even your paid tax expert couldn't resolve it and my time and money was wasted on that too.

It asks you to enter your income from before you were a resident of Canada. This is where the error is. Have you entered your foreign income?

The Canada Revenue Agency was unable to process your return because of one of the following reasons:A date of entry was indicated without indicating the residency status as immigrant.You indicated a residency status of immigrant without providing a date of entry.Make the necessary corrections and try again.
Got same problem. Support number provided tells me it was changed?
What's the solution. I select Cdn resident already

@How123 Did you become a Canadian resident in 2024? If so, you'll need to enter a date.
If you were a resident for all of 2024, please go into Forms mode, and search for INFOWS. Make sure that the information in the Residency section is correct.
