can't access help article - "you do not have sufficient privileges"...
I have been a TurboTax (canada) customer and have had an account for a number of years. This year I purchased TurboTax 2024 Basic and then yesterday upgraded to Standard.
Today I needed to search for info on the Community site, I was prompted to join the community, which I did, setting up new user name "Inevitable" (like death and taxes, get it?).
I searched my question ("RLIF transfer to RRSP") and a couple of promising looking answers were returned in the answer list, however when I clicked on the link to those, I received an error message "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action".
Clicking on "Return to my original page" sends me back to the general community page, ie back to the beginning of an endless loop where I can't get the answer I need.
Please help.

Troubleshooting
This is a live community, and as such, posts get deleted for a number of reasons, often because something is incorrect, outdated or a duplicate. These deleted posts shouldn't be showing in our search results and we are looking into resolving the issue ASAP.
As for the "RLIF transfer to RRSP" - enter the T4RIF. Then enter the RRSP contribution, making sure to enter the transferred amount in the box "Is this RRSP contribution a designated transfer of eligible income amount? If so, enter the amount that is a designated transfer". And that should do the transfer.

Troubleshooting
I am having the same difficulty as the OP: I am unable to view any of the questions I select from the list, and I am told I do not have sufficient privileges to do so. The fix you suggest produces the same result.
The problem I am attempting to resolve is that I am installing TurboTax Canada 2024 Desktop on a second computer, and when the installation program reaches the update stage, I select UPDATE, and the installation program silently quits.
Thanks.

Troubleshooting
@polarhalo4786 Make sure your Windows OS is up to date. For installation issues, make sure you are following these points:
- You have the administrator rights on the profile you are installing TurboTax on.
- You are not trying to install on a cloud.
- Turn off your antivirus software and Windows Defender before installation & be sure to turn it back on after.
- Try this link to download TY24: https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/2024/dls/TurboTax_2024.exe
If the error persists, we suggest you contact our product support by phone.
