Can i get turbo tax onto my new computer. my old one died in the middle of doing tax

Yes, you can definitely download TurboTax onto your new computer as it is possible to install the software on 3 different computers. However, our TurboTax Download software is compatible with Windows only.  Another option is to use TurboTax Online. It works very well and and can be used with Mac and Windows.

Does it count as a NEW COMPUTER if erase Windows and reinstall it on the same device?

I installed Turbotax 2024 on old PC and die, so I installed on other 2 laptops, now I got a new PC .  I want to install the Turbo tax to new PC,.  .got error code since I installed to 3 computers already.  Can I transfer the dead PC hard drive to the new computer and made it work.  License code max is 3 computers.  Can someone help?

@dder Moving the old hard drive into the new computer will not work, as it likely will still see that the new computer is not the same as old one.
