I totally agree; it is a joke. I was obliged to buy UFile to submit my forms.
Crayzalo111, if you know you are not reporting any capital gains, see if you can go to forms mode to look at schedule 3. If there is a box checked, uncheck the box. It may be a trick question in warnings that triggers the schedule 3 whether you answer yes or no.
I'm not reporting any gain.
Please solve your problems and be transparent with the users. The program is generating errors anyway. I entered the same data in UFile and it went through.
Delphision:
I tried and it doesn't work. My schedule 3 has nothing checked. Intuit needs to get their **** together and fix this program. Otherwise refund me and I will go elsewhere. This bs is getting on my nerves. This is the last time I buy this program. I get the same bs with Quicken.
Hi I was trying to delete the Capital gain form but I am not sure how to do this. Could you please let me know how you were able to do this?
Thanks for the details ! I have no Capital Gains, and this worked for me. To Print/Save, I also needed to remove the checkbox on Schedule 3
Four calls to Tech Support couldn't solve this. I was just told to wait and check daily.
Many thanks again for posting this
If I may suggest, please take a look at my last post on the following thread. It will explain everything
Enjoy
@stclarke1960 If you are not using Schedule 3. uncheck any box related to Schedule 3.Please try to close any open and unused forms. Select Edit>Forms>Clear Current Form, and then Edit>Forms>Close Unused Forms.
Sorry all, perhaps my wording was not clear. I followed the threads here on clearing the T657 and schedule 3, and I was successful in submitting my return.. I was only trying to help others that by following these two suggestions, I was successful.
Thanks for the replies
For everyone having the problem of locked forms. On Monday, I spoke with CRA and confirmed that I do not have any Capital Gains. They advised me to make sure schedule 3 was not open and if it was to clear and remove it. I tried several times and was unable. Then I contacted TurboTax supported, waited 20 minutes for a reply. I Tech did a screen share with me and he finally solved the problem.
He cleared and removed schedule 3 but he also found another form for investment interest, don't know where it came from as I have no investments at all, and he removed that form.
He waited to make sure that by removing these forms I could file and Eureka, my Canadian Federal and Provincial taxes went through. I suggest you call support, do a screen share and hopefully you will get a great Tech that can solve your problem as he did mine. Good luck to all.
