If you are using TurboTax Online, there is no ability to edit the actual forms. However, you can see the forms by printing or downloading the PDF archive of your return. This TurboTax FAQ tells you how to save/print a copy of your tax return in TurboTax Online: How do I print/save a copy of my return in TurboTax Online?
If you are using TurboTax CD/Download, then this TurboTax FAQ shows you how to switch to Forms mode: How do I switch between EasyStep and Forms mode in TurboTax CD/Download?
@TurboTaxSusan thanks for the reply. It's not the reply I hoped for. I think I will be going back to to using the CD version as I find the "easy steps" more difficult than just using the forms. Especially for the T2125. I didn't realize that the versions would be so different. Now, I probably can't revert to the downloaded version easily.
This is very disappointing. I have been using your products for years I am very used to using forms mode. Is there any plans to have this option online?
There are no plans to add forms to TurboTax Online for 2022.
But I have passed on all your comments & suggestions to our product development team.
Thank you for your input.
Hello I just want ask if it is possible to upload T1 general.pdf 2022 which i got from my accountant into turbo tax 2023 ?
i don't have TTCanada yet but i will buy if i can upload 2022 from my accountant.
Unfortunately, you can't download T1 General to TurboTax. However, once you use TurboTax each year afterward, you can import your last year's information into the new year you are completing.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
If your accountants version is a desktop version and you buy the desktop version you would be able to upload. The desktop and the online version aren't compatible with each other. You could enter your info in manually though. I personally don't like the online version at all. The desktop is more flexible to use.
