My husband is the sole owner of a corporation, which in turn owns part of the restaurant that he manages. He is required by his employer to wear clothing that is primarily dry clean only, including suits jacket and pants. He spends upwards of $150/month on dry cleaning for this clothing. Is he able to expense any of that cost to his corporation??
Generally speaking, uniforms and costs related to clothing requirements for employment are not tax deductible.
