I am new to Turbo Tax - I prepare 12 personal returns for my family , many of whom are family groups - I want to net file. What product do you recommend I acquire ?

I am an experienced accountant and wish to start using Turbo Tax to prepare, netfile and be able to share results with family members located throughout Canada. Recommendation for most approriate product ?

TurboTax offers a few different products that will allow you to file 12 or more tax returns. Here's some information that will help you choose the one best suited to your needs. 🙂

• If you are looking for a TurboTax program to download to your computer, we recommend TurboTax 20 for you. Remember as per CRA rules you can only NetFile 20 tax returns per computer.

What does it mean 12 returns? I want to file for myself, my husband and business (sole proprietor), does this mean 3 and I can use it next year? Sorry if it might sound dumb!

If you get TurboTax CD/Download Premier or Home & Business, both allow you to do 12 returns, but only for 2019.

Also, if your business is not incorporated, then you only have to do 2 tax returns – one for yourself & one for your husband. You would include your self-employment income & expenses on one or both of your returns, not a separate one.
