Where do I enter inventory cost? COGS. I've used Turbo Tax for years, but now it does not give me a page to put starting inventory, purchases and end f year inventory.

Do you choose "Professional" as your business category? If so, then you won't see the inventory section. You need to choose the Business category to see the Inventory.
