Why does data entered on T5008 tax slips not show up on Schedule 3. Do I have to re-enter this data in Schedule 3?

On the T5008 slips, is the type of income selected "Capital Gains"? If "Investment" is selected, then the amounts won't show up as Capital Gains (or on Schedule 3).

Also, if you have a spouse, make sure that the slips are not on their return instead of yours.

Hello TurboTax Susan,

Thank you for your reply. I did a work around by entering directly into Schedule 3. I am not an accountant and when I seen Income I probably ignored it because to me Capital Gains is Capital Gains and not Income. Also strange that normally, when T forms are available for data entry, they are the only way that data can be entered into Schedules. I tested your suggestion and it worked perfectly. Too bad that I could not find it in the T5800 Help. Stay well. Keep smiling. Thank you.
