    As a student with educational amounts as well as capital gains, can I still use the free version of TurboTax?

    Just wondering if the free version can deal with capital gains. Thanks!

    As a student with educational amounts as well as capital gains, can I still use the free version of TurboTax?

    The free version does have an entry screen for capital gains.

    Thanks D, I didn't want her to get far into the free version only to discover it was not the right choice.
