Hi,
As mentioned in the title I am trying to file my taxes for 2018. Unfortunately, since it is more than 4 years I believe I cannot claim CPP overpayment refund for that year. The app correctly throws me an error saying that the claimed CPP overpayment is incorrect. If I manually change it to 0 then the values get overridden.
However, I believe I will not be able to E-file if I override the value. Is there any way to E-file my returns for 2018 without overriding the CPP overpayment field ?
I am having this problem too.
@jonman_t Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?
Online , but , I think this is the solution.

You are correct in your assumption.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
