1st time submission

Hi,

I submitted my tax returns for the first time in the 1st week of May 2020 (for the year 2019) using turbotax.

Since I was submitting it for the first time and do not yet have my CRA details, turbotax expert advised me to mail in the returns. 

On July 3, I called the Canada Revue regarding the status of my tax return. They mentioned that due to COVID the tax team has a huge backlog of mails and not sure when they will process my returns and advised me to check if I can submit my tax return electronically.

The questions I have are

1. without a CRA account, how can and where can I submit my tax return electronically? 
2. will I have to go through creating my returns again?

Did you send your return to the Canada Revenu Agency? Please contact CRA to see if it was received. If you register for a CRA "My Account" you will be able to see the status of your return.
