How do you report a bug in the system? Trying to refile 2023 canadian taxes and the What would you like to change on your return comes up with the list of choices (none are the one I want, and Other, I choose Other, Continue, and the next page is blank. There is no drop down option.
I just did this for 2022 taxes and know what to expect, and that list was not available and I can't refile.
I cleared cookies, cache, tried incognito, Chrome, Safari, there is no VPN on my machine, tried using my phone as well. Nada. No options.
I tried speaking to an agent and Patrick wouldn't listen to the information I was providing about a bug, he assumed I did it wrong and we went back and forth to no avail. It wasn't reported as a bug, he told me to call back and talk to someone else. I give up.
I can get someone to call you to help you resolve this problem. Would you prefer to be called back in the morning or in the afternoon? Callback requests are only made during business hours which are currently 9 am to 6 pm (EST) Mon-Fri.
No, I do not wish to speak to another agent unless it's web support and not tax support. Your last agent, Patrick, was unable to help and was a very frustrating call. Please check the site first to see if there is a bug and that is why I cannot see the options for the 2023 refile. Given that I could do it for 2022 moments before, I'm quite confident it is not an issue on my end.
Unfortunately, here in community we are not able to test REFILE functionality, or see your return, so our phone support team would be better able to help. They are product support, not tax experts. If you don't want a callback, then I can put in an investigation, but I would need to get get some information from you in that case.

FYI: You can also change your return using CRA My Account.
I do not want a call, I'll make the change on the CRA site. I've provided the information about the bug in my original message, I don't have any further information to provide.
