I bought my Turbo Tax at Costco like I do every year.
I installed the 2024 system but my key comes up not valid error code 603 but it says authorized for 0/5 installs.
But when I log on with my ipad I'm good to go.
Never seen this over the last decade or so using this program.
Should I return this back to COSTCO & figure out another system ?
Is this product purchased from Costco in Canada or from US?

This was purchased in Canada at a Canadian Costco in Edmonton.
TurboTax Desktop Canadian version can only be downloaded up to 3 devices ( Windows OS) not on a MAC or an iPad. It was always 3 installs per License code & we never had 5 installs allowed for a Desktop version.
Well aside from not being to send a pic as it’s too big for your system.
it states 0/5 Active.
& states: installed on 0 out of 5 machines.
still same error code.
This is installed on my home desk top with windows.
So I’m not able to use this program, Frustrating as it was a great tool to use. Plus what the program cost.

Please try to send us a picture of the product case so we can check. As mentioned earlier you can only install TurboTax Desktop (Canada) on 3 computers. 5 installations are only for US TurboTax Desktop.
Like it says on the box, the product you bought is TurboTax Online edition. This is not a version you install on a computer and you can't use this code in a TurboTax Desktop software.
To activate your product, you have to use this link and activate your code into your TurboTax online account. When you'll click on the link, you'll have to select between "I have an account" or "Create an account", and then you follow the steps. When the code will be activated and linked to your account, you will be able to file 8 Deluxe returns from your Online account. As long as you stay in the Deluxe version (no upgrade, no other products/services added), you won't have to pay at the end. On payment page, the system will ask you if you want to apply the return to your code.
As my colleague explained to you previously, the Canadian Desktop version can be installed and activated on 3 computers only. It looks like the software you installed on your computer is a US product (5 installations). You should uninstall this software.

Okay did as directed:
Still not working comes to the web site for Canada & then asked for the key code ( Inputted ) Then it states the key code is not valid so now I have no access at all.
I'll call COSTCO & see if I can return it for a new one. (I don't think they will exchange it.)
My question is after all these years they make this harder to login too.
Not happy with this product at the moment.

I did notice the web link is different from the activation card to what you sent me.
