    Does Elections Canada need to know if person is deceased? How do you get name off of voting list?

    Does Elections Canada need to know if person is deceased? How do you get name off of voting list?

    As long as the tax return for the deceased person doesn't have "Yes" checked off for the Elections Canada question, CRA will notify Elections Canada once the return has been processed to remove him/her from the register.
