Can I submit zero for my basic personal amount?

I made a mistake on my TD1ON where I accidentally checked off that my income will be less than the claim amount, and because of this I have never had tax deducted.

Is it possible to set my claim amount on the federal TD1 to “zero” so that I can get as much tax deducted as possible before my tax statement comes next year?

Thank you

The best thing you can do is wait for your notice of assessment- then once you have received it - it is possible that CRA will catch and correct the error and if not, then you can go to your CRA "My Account" and update your information directly from there.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
