Deluxe turbo tax delux netfile returns

Hello

• I would like to buy the Deluxe online version for mac for $20.99 however you don’t mention how many returns you allowed or how many Nefile is included, all I see is “Pay when you file” does it mean you pay $20.99 and additional fees for each Netfile return? (I need 6 returns to Netfile will the Deluxe version cover that)
• Since I’ve only used Ufile for many years can you transfer the information to turbo tax or can you automatically download the information from CRA

You can prepare up to 20 returns in your TurboTax Online account. With TurboTax Online, you pay per return and can choose to use different editions, up to a total of 20 returns. Netfile is free. If no upgrading or additional services are added, you will pay $20.99 for each return done when you have completed your returns.

Unfortunately, you cannot transfer between different company's software. You can Auto-fill this year's information from your MyAccount at the Canada Revenue Agency but you will only be able to transfer information from previous tax returns next year and after.

Thank you for your answer, just so I understand it correctly:

If I do it online and I pay $20.99 each, so 6 returns will cost me $126. If I download the standard version and install it on my mac I pay $37 and I can file 8 returns and 8 Netfiles (or is it only 5 Netfiles)

Unfortunately, our TurboTax CD/Download software is not compatible with Mac. You will be able to Netfile the 8 returns free. Your best option is to purchase the TurboTax Deluxe Online edition package for 8 returns from a retail store as our online link does not have that package available. Purchase TurboTax at a retail store near you Please see the image below of the package you are looking for.

Thank you again for your answer. I will follow your advice and buy the Deluxe online editions from a store.

1          According to your answer above that will allow me to file 8 returns and also to Netfile 8 returns??

2          The 8 returns will also include my relatives with different married names, will I have to create different accounts for them or do I file all 8 returns under my account??

Yes you will be able to file 8 returns and Netfile them also, for yourself and relatives. Be advised that all returns will be in the same account therefore if they wish to see their returns, they will either need a printed copy or to view them in your account where all returns will be visible in the one account. The package can only be used in one account.

I was almost convinced to switch to Turbo Tax from Ufile so I wanted to test it how easy it is to use and if I would get the same refund as Ufile gave me for 2021.

So, I selected a free version tax return for 2021 and spent half hour to input mine and my wife’s information on my Mac Air 1 2020 (with apple silicone chip). All good so far than it starts to load (I guess) the main program, keeps loading, loading then it gives me an error and ask me to restart. I’ve restarted, logged in and now nothing, all the information I put it for 2021 is gone. Any thoughts on what happened???

Please make sure that you don’t have any ad or script blockers installed on your browser that might interfere with TurboTax Online. You can also try using a different web browser.
